BEHOLD!
Another recent photo of Bri for ye all to enjoy-eth!
Feast thou eyes upon it.
Whereforeart I ?
This time I art in Afghanethistan at the launch of Bang! unto the Arabs !
Hopefully they will be-eth a bit more generous with their cash! I doth anticipate-eth wondrous sales figures verily soon!
Lo! I wert approached by a verily nice gentleman (someone from the Book Biz I think) who sayeth unto thee
(and I hope-eth I got this correct-eth because it wert verily hard to hearken him over the continuous gunfire)
“Brian the Wise, I art a fan of Banana Rama, welcome to thy garden. Here art a talisman for thee”
But he did not giveth anything unto Thee. Strange!
Perhaps the ‘talisman’ wert simply his respect and goodwill unto Thee.
His garden art also verily bare. No lawn to mow-eth here! Ha ha-eth.

The crowd wert chanting something like “ What a drama , get upon thy llama....or something, I couldst barely hearken.”
“Climb-eth aboard thy camel and come-eth unto our Headquarters” he sayeth.
“Ah-ha-eth!” I thought unto thyself, “At last some people who treateth Thee with the respect I deserve!”
And we climbeth aboard his great smelly camel and trek-eth off unto Headquarters. ( the Book Biz art verily involved and it art difficult for ye laymen to understand-eth)

“Please, be-eth seating” he sayeth unto Thee and his managers show-eth unto Thee their rifles.
They art verily impressive!

“Please, didst the Honourable Brian the Wise bringeth a package for us?” sayeth the nice gentlemen who I must say reeketh of camel dung.
“Ah yea! The publishers didst want Thee to bestow this gift upon ye! I knoweth not what it art, but a small token of our appreciation for thou belief in Bang-eth!”
The nice gentlemen took the gift from Thee with glee!
Ha ha-eth! It art so easily to please these nomadic type-eths!

Then, in another benevolent gesture I decided to whip out Thy pen and sign a few copies of Bang-eth for them.
But nay!
These kind people pounced upon Thee and grabbed Thy pen and admonished Thee for Thy actions.
It wert verily clear that they didst ne’er expecteth someone of Thy stature to be signed bits of paper for the multitudes.
Ah, this art the kind of respect-eth and adulation that Thee deserveth.

And lo, night wert about to fall in the desert and these verily kind and generous people didst thusly escort Thee unto Thy somewhat primitive lodgings.

And as if I wert not warm enough in the glow of their adulation and hospitality, they didst light of a bonfire for Thee.

And in honour of Thee they performeth a celebratory dance!
And Lo! In all the excitement I must hath fallen asleep !

ARRAH! I awaken at cockcrow to find Thyself in a strange and distant land!
I knoweth not how I come-eth to be here!
Things art verily strange in the world of the Book Biz. I art still learning!

Cheers,
Bri the Wise
PS .. Ye all knoweth of Bri the Wi’s multi-lingual skills. Here art a lesson for ye. The Arabic word for Bang-eth! art KORAN!
