A Whimsical Note from Bri the Wi #this art just some wise notes that ye canst study to enhanceth thou general knowledge. Thou dost not hath an ulterior motive.

ARMOR

A knight hath many pounds of armor that he must wear to protecteth himself from arrows (those little poison ones that cometh mysteriously from the bushes) and enemies swords. The armor art put on by thou devoted Censaur.

First, the knight put-eth on a linen shirt and drawers, which art similar to loose boxer shorts.

Over the drawers art worn a long woolen hose and arming doublet, which art a shirt with chain mail padding upon thy arms and chest.

Around thy neck, art worn a chain mail neck collar.

Breast and back plates art strappeth onto thy chest, which haveth a little skirt of armor attached to protecteth thy groin.

More armor art strapped onto thou arms, legs, hands, and feet. This armor cometh in many pieces so that the knight art able to moveth more easily.

The last piece of armor placed upon the knight art thy helmet. The helmet art verily hot, (obviously madeth by Macethintosh – a pestilence upon them) so if the knight art not going into battle immediately, he wouldst hold the helmet by his side.

The knight also useth a metal or wood shield to ward off enemies blows during a battle. This shield art carried upon one arm, usually the left, and the sword art carried with the other.

Please note: Wise Knights doeth not goeth into battle, other knights do that.
