The Parable-eth of the Spoons
A holy man wert spakething with The Lord God Freddie one day and he sayeth unto Him, "Lord, Thee wouldst like-eth to knoweth what Heaven and Hell art like. "The Lord God Freddie leadeth the holy man unto two doors. He openeth one of the doors and the holy man looketh in. In the middle of the room wert a large round table. In the middle of the table wert a large pot of stew which smelleth delicious and maketh the holy man's mouth water.
The people sitting around the table wert thin and sickly. They appeareth to be-eth famished. They wert holding spoons with verily long handles and each found it possible to reacheth unto the pot of stew and taketh a spoonful, but because the handle wert longer than their arms, they couldst nay get the spoons back unto their mouths. The holy man shuddereth at the sight of their misery and suffering. The Lord God Freddie sayeth unto him, "Thou hath seen Hell."
They went unto the next room and opened the door. It was exactly the same as the first one. There was the large round table with the large pot of stew which made the holy man's mouth water. The people wert equippeth with the same long-handled spoons, but here the people wert well nourished and plump, laughething and spake-ething. The holy man sayeth, "Thee knoweth not?"
It art simple" sayeth The Lord God Freddie, "it requireth but one skill. Thou see-eth, they hath learneth to feed each other. Whilst the greedy think only of themselves."
